Samsung plans more . . . . . . . . .
The company projects that it will move 374 million cellphones next year, 49 million more than its projections for 2011.The report says that 150 million of those 374 million handsets will be smartphones. Unfortunately, since Samsung no longer reports actual numbers of devices shipped each quarter, it will be very difficult to tell how many smartphones and cellphones it does actually sell in 2012. Analysts determined that Samsung edged out Apple to become the number one smartphone maker in the world in the third quarter of this year, but many expect Apple to reclaim its title in the fourth quarter.
