Android showing robust growth in the software market - report

I heard that Google's vice president of mobile, Andy Rubin, has just revealed that the company is activating over 850,000 Android smartphones and tablets every day. This is a jump up from the 700,000 per day figure that was announced late last year and shows that the Android ecosystem is continuing to grow at an aggressive rate.
